Why Ski with LESLEY?

Lesley caught the skiing bug at 8 years old when her family went to live on the east coast of Canada for 2 years. When she returned to the UK she was fortunate enough to live 5 minutes away from the local dry ski slope. Her passion for skiing was kept alive by the race club that ran at the slope.

As a young person she travelled most of England racing on dry ski slopes. Although she loved racing and race training, her passion turned in a new direction when she took her first Ski Instructing license at the age of 16.

Lesley is a lovely, enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about skiing and helping people learn.  In fact, she is so committed to developing her own teaching skills she spends her summers studying!

Lesley loves the challenge of teaching a person the skill of skiing.  It gives her so much joy to see people enthused and passionate about the sport of skiing because of the introduction and development she has given them. Lesley is as comfortable giving technical input to excellent skiers as she is providing reassurance and confidence building to nervous skiers.

Lesley is also a longstanding BASI Trainer, with responsibilities to train and assess instructors coming through the British system, she is often running instructor training and courses in the Portes du Soleil and other places in Europe.
