We are the training arm of the BASS Morzine & Les Gets, set up in 1999, the original British Ski School. Your BASS Pro coaches are all full-time ski teachers with decades of experience teaching all levels of recreational skier, from 3 yrs to 83yrs old.

The BASS Pro coaches have current experience running all levels of BASI course, from level 1 to 4, both technical and teaching modules. Members of the BASS Pro team are also members of the BASI Interski Team and the BASI National Education Team, the trainers who train the trainers and develop BASI course content into the future.

Our philosophy is that learning is a lifelong experience that is enriched by a broad spectrum of experiences. Teaching and learning are two sides of the same coin, as you learn to be a better skier, you are experiencing state of the art teaching techniques which you can share with your own learners. The more you learn about yourself as a learner, the more independence you gain in dictating your future pathway.

Formally constituted in 1963, The British Association of Snowsport Instructors (BASI) is a UK based membership association responsible for the training and licensing of snowsport instructors and coaches.

BASI exists for the benefit of its members and works on their behalf to deliver:
